5 Day ICAO to FAA Private, Instrument or Commercial

Many people from foreign countries want to have an FAA licence so they can fly N registered airplanes in their home country.  If you already have a CAA or JAA Private Certificate, Instrument Rating or Commercial License, you only need to become familiar with FAA regulations and take a checkride with an FAA examinerin order to earn an FAA certificate.

This 5 day process typically involves two days of ground instruction and three days of flight instruction, with the checkride on the 6th day. You must have the hours required by the FAA for the certificate or rating you seek.  In additiion you must pass the appropriate FAA knowledge test.

The cost for this program is $3,500 plus airplane costs.
