4 Day Instrument Finish Up

Many students come to me after having spent time with another instructor and for various reasons want to finish their instrument program with me. As long as the prerequisites below are met, finishing your training to PTS standards normally takes 4 days. The four day training typically includes one day of ground/simulator work and three days of flight training.

The cost for the 4 Day Finish Up Program is $2,800 plus airplane costs.

Prerequisites for the 4 Day Finish Up Program:

  • Pass the instrument knowledge test
  • Complete the required dual X-C flight
  • Log at least 20 hours of actual/hood time
  • Complete 50 hours of X-C PIC time
  • Read the instrument syllabus e-mailed to you
